pvp temple strike build
this build can be used in any PvP situation, but is not suitable for PvE.
skills~jagged strike, temple strike, twisting fangs, wild strike, critical strike, siphon speed, shadow refuge, res signet/optional....15 dagger, 9 deadly arts, 9 shadow arts, 10 critical strikes...use zealous daggers and shrouded armor/radiant insignias.
the point of this build is to be able to effectivley kill casters and physical damage dealers alike. pick a target and use the first three skills, then use jagged strike again followed by wild strike and critical strike. the reason i am using jagged strike is because it has a quick recharge allowing you to repeat jagged strike+wild strike+critical stike often. if energy management isnt a problem with just zealous daggers, use death blossom instead of critical strike. you can also use expose defenses or dash for AB instead of res signet. and use siphon speed for a snare, of course.
have fun!

Overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaa tedddddddddddddddddddd.
well, Temple strike is one of them nice skills for RA, being that it can counter melee and casters, I offen use Shadow walk and hex breaker as shadow step and slight hex defence. You can add an IAS, pfft, if you need it.

I don't really like the build, Dutch Masterrr. Apart from daze, it will not be that dangerous for casters.

IAS is overrated but does work with TempleS for interrupt
BoA ruined sins reputation
Anyways its nice but if your already using twisting fangs -_- whats the point of getting a non +damage boost bleed with TF does that with +damage and deep wound
Leaping mantis strike is usually better for when someone sees you and tries to run (not usually in RA....those people are damn stupid)

Usually yes but in this case, using his build, its faster recharge so you can pull off two combos simultaneously.
I would say that you should have only one combo and more defense on someone who is pressure.
If you try an off-hand that req a hex like the black lotus and spider skills it will free you a slot and help since you have a hex.

once the daze is on, its hard for casters to cast spells because they are both casted slower, and interupted on contact. also, if the damage alone from the build is enough to kill a warrior, it will of course kill a 60al caster.

Where are your ideas/changes/suggestions then, besides making most of your postings look like spam, Yanman?

People generally whine even more if I try to alter their builds. That's why I refrain from giving suggestions.

omg -_-
Hex required build DO NOT FREE UP A SLOT unless you DO NOT BRING A HEX
Replace a hex with a lead attack and you have the same number of slots
You do not get an extra defensive skill in there unless your Hex Is Defensive -_-.

Unless you take Shadow Prison, that's a snare, teleport AND a hex.

Leaping Mantis, Temple Strike, Hoto, Falling Spider, TF is better imo.
You need a zealous + 5 nrgy dagger though.

dash, leaping, temple, twisting, malicious strike, wildbow, feigned/shadow, res
dash~lms snares kiters. stack 5 conditions in 3 attacks. malicious strike(+damage and crit if target conditioned) and wild blow are good follow up damage that can be spammed outside and even in between the combo(to remove a stance so next attack will hit for example). since both are auto-crit, at 13 cs theyre almost free.

hmmmm.... temple strike interesting...
I find Temple strike interesting with a lot of potential. If I'm correct it is a off-hand atk correct? I've never used it but I have seen the skill before. Y not try something like unsuspecting strike-> Temple strike -> repeating strike ( better dmg output than normal atks with the interrupting from daze, spammable and looks kinda cool to XD )-> Twisting Fangs -> Deaths charge ( or another shadow step )-> deaths retreat ( or return for quick getaway after killing an opponent )-> way of perfection or another heal that allows u to stay in the fray until u can shadow step out -> res sig or heal or IAS. In theory this is a decent build for taking down a boss or something. If u want a snare leaping mantis sting and jungle strike could go in for unsuspecting strike and repeating strike. Also wild strike for repeating if u want to continue with more dmg but u could always use repeating until Temple strike was recharged. I'm sure its not the greatest build out there but it doesn't rely on conditions ( I mean enchants and such ) which allows it to be used whenever u need. ( correction it relies on u not being blind and such, but what melee class doesn't? Melandru Derv doesn't count..... ) eh this is just my 2 cents.
Oh and yanman.be idc what u say u should put ur 2 cents in regardless ur a good sin from all the forums I've read that u seem to be in... If it matters what others say then u shouldn't be on the forums its a place of opinion. Am I bashing u? No. I'm merely telling u to put ur 2 cents about a build in but don't tell the guy/girl its total crap or something just say a nice way to improve it. Ok that's all. I probably got off topic or something and made something irrelevant but hey its still my 2 cents so :-P

Temple strike is great for its daze+blind, a 99% shutdown to any foe(except evil touchers!!) buuut... 15 energy and 20 s recharge = not so great for an offhand. I still love my starting pvp combo:
[skill]Shadowy Burden[/skill][skill]Beguiling Haze[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Blinding Powder[/skill]
shuts down any enemy, gives shadow step, hex, snare, armor reduction, energy return, daze, and blind. follow up with basic spiking attacks and yea... it owns.
(yes i know BH is same energy/recharge as temple, but its in a better place this way xD)

HoTo+falling spider isnt too great considering that you have a high possibility that your target will be adjacent to someone...and +5 energy shouldn't be needed with radiant insignias or shrouded armor...sins always need as much extra damage as possible.
and Yanman.be...yes, like every single build in guild wars, the build i posted has its counters. instead of saying how you can counter it, give some suggestions and changes (that include temple strike) that will still keep the main idea of the build.

I don't think BoA ruined the rep, just people that couldn't use BoA.
What BoA DID ruin, was the ability for sins to function well in PvP. Every monk with a mind in is head knows to check for A/W then remove hexes ASAP. It made it very hard to play in alot of cases.
